About Townsville Hospital Foundation

Townsville Hospital Foundation is a 100% not-for-profit organisation committed to providing the extras that make a difference in the Townsville Health Services District. Our aim is to provide a number of outstanding services, programs and "extras" to all patients, health care providers and visitors to The Townsville Hospital effectively and efficiently. Our Community Partners, Sponsors & Supporters are central to achieving this aim on a daily basis.

Through fundraising, donor programs, targeted appeals, Sponsorship & Community Partner programs and ofcourse our team of over 120 dedicated volunteers we are able to effectively and efficiently deliver our many services and programs including our Canteen Trolley, Cancer Clinics Companionship, Emergency Department Angels, Childrens Ward Programs.

Our active and experienced board assist us in creating and achieving goals to ensure maximum return on our resources, volunteer and otherwise.

It's with thanks to our growing base of local Community Partners, Sponsors and Supporters that we recognise our ability to further expand our services and provide funding for a growing number of projects year round. Our funding not only assists in the improvement of treatments through the purchase of the state of the art equipment, but offers a lifeline to continue vital medical research into areas of great importance to our local community. We are extremely grateful for our Community Partners, Sponsors & Supporters and strive to nurture our partnerships with them.
